Below are some of the most frequently asked questions we get, together with their answer. If you don’t see your question below, please contact us for more information.

How will my plant be delivered?

We deliver most plants using TNT a very well know courier company, your artificial plant, tree or planter will be delivered boxed. If you have ordered an artificial tree you will need to spread the leaves on the tree as they have been compacted for travel, this is a very easy job and we have a video to show you how if you need any further help. Small plants and some topiary trees will require the same opening out – it is a very fast and simple process.

When should I expect delivery?

We deliver Monday to Friday with TNT we will dispatch your order as quickly as possible but please allow up to 5 working days. If you require your order urgently or by a certain date please either add the details into the “if you think there’s anything we need to know” space on the order form or email

If the tree does not come with a display pot how do I plant it?

Our trees come with a small Black plastic pot known as a stabilizer pot that is filled with concrete, the pots are very small but will allow the tree to stand up. To plant the trees is again a very simple process, place your tree into your display pot and fill the pot with any of the following, sand, soil, or decorative pebbles. This is simply to hold the tree in place and fill the display pot. If the plant is for outdoor use we recommend using stones or sand in your display pot to make it heavy and try to stop the tree from blowing over. We offer a service of planting at a charge of £4.50 for indoor and £9.50 for outdoor plants, we use expanding foam to seal the plant into the pot and then cover with a natural moss topping. This means the plant will be delivered to you ready to display – easy! The outdoor planting is more expensive as we will add weight at the bottom of the pot and seal with the expanding foam.

Where is the measurement of the trees taken from?

The artificial trees measurements are taken from the floor up to the top of the stem of the tree, this usually means that the trees will stand slightly higher than stated as the foliage may spread higher than the wood stem. For example a 1.5m/5ft Ficus will usually stand at 5.5ft 1.7m.

What size pot do I need for my tree?

As a guideline we would say the following Trees 90cm-120cm require a pot with a width and height of 30cm 150cm-180cm require a width and height of 35cm or over. 180-210cm – require a width and height of 40cm or more. We also advise that If you would like more advice on what pots look best with the tree you have found then please email our friendly and helpful sales team on we really are here to help!
